His name was TJ...

Doesn't the beach look BEAUTIFUL!?

My dad suddenly got a flea in his ear about fitness so on Saturday morning we set-off early and rode our bikes to the beach.

It's about a 12km ride, but thankfully there is a dedicated bicycle path so you don't have to worry about traffic. ^_^

Once there I had a macadamia nut ice-cream (so much for healthy!), but it was sooo good. There was gooey caramel running through the entire ice-cream <3

On the way back we started talking to this little boy called TJ, he was so cute! >_< He happened to be riding behind my dad and my dad then, thinking it  was me, started racing him. When I finally caught up the boy had stopped on the side of the path and was puffing his little heart out! He'd really given it his all racing dad. Nawwwwwwww----

Apparently his name was Tarance? Never met a Tarance before...

And these were our noble steeds, mine's the red one, but I REALLY want a sports racer like my dad's. He picked it up at a junk sale for $20. Only thing is it's a women's bike, but he loves it all the same.

Overall, it was a really good ride and if you want to get fit, I highly recommend leisurely bicycle rides!
