He set the benchmark so high I can't even see it anymore. The real king of design, definitely one of my idols. Seems rather late to say it now, but the British museum did a showcase on some of his most defining moments (in clothing) a couple of months back. Ofcourse I could never be there to see it with my own eye's, but thanks to that crazy thing called the internet I get to drool over these pictures and imagine what could've been...

You're so right! He was amazing & a genius! The intricate details in the feathers, embroidery, tulle...*sigh*. So happy that his work lives on. :)
