Cuffs, Cross's and Sparkly Things

Just HAD to share my delight in finding these little jewels on SALE today from Equip. Yipeee! Really wanted some heavy armour for my wrist this Summer and bracelet's are a great (and easy) to update each season. I think the light chain necklace with the cross will be good for casual days on top of a tee or something.. And the fan-like diamond beauty? I must admit, I was allured simply by it's sparkliness, but don't worry I have something instore for it- but I'll keep you posted on that ;)

I'm on school holidays from today, so hopefully I can post more regularly and actually get some members!

First catching my eye, with her stunning clear green eyes was when she starred in Cowboys and Aliens, but it wasn't till' I saw her in a femme-fatale show stopping red dress in The Change-Up  that she really had me hooked. Is she my cure for the now M.I.A Megan Fox? Maybe, just maybe...

Cotton On and Lame Computers

Downunder we sometimes (read: ALWAYS) suffer from a lack of good clothing. I mean without American Apparel, Zara, H&M and Forever 21 what are we supposed to do!? Thankfully we have a few companies to pick up the slack. Today specifically I will be paying tribute to Cotton On, although sometimes a 'wee-bit' on the expensive side they always stock the basic tees and dresses with trendy designs, not to mention Rubi shoes, who always stock AMAZING styles (but I warn you, they tend not to be very comfortable... ). Here's my pick on what they have on offer at the moment.

PS I had wanted to collage them, but my (dissapointingly lame) school laptop won't let me download photo editing software to it! Bummer I know :( At the moment I'm using picnik.com but it is kind of limited if your not a paying customer, if you have any suggestions please do tell!)

Crushing on the black Serena platforms, but can't decide between the leopard print sandals or the stone ones.. hmm...

I was also thinking that the last pair of shoes (the sneakers) could be spiked and studded for a Christian Louboutin-esque feel? Possible DIY project, maybe.

Shot for Allure (September 2011) she looks raunchy, but not controversial. Note the guy is outside the bath, not in it with her... Leading on from that terrible segway did anyone notice the male model? Yes! it's Damon from Vampire Diaries. Although, I will admit I did watch the entire first season of this series, by the second I found it to be much of the same and tuned  out. However, what drew me in in the first place was hottie Damon Salvatore. In fact, all my friends fell head over heals for him. Which begs the question, why does he lurk around in the back of these photos like a phsycopathic tradie...

Anyway if you get some time do check out The Hillywood Show on Youtube. They're musical/parody/comedy of Vampire Diaries is not only funny, but of extremely good quality! Get on it!

Just thought I'd make it clear that I LOVE magazines. From Yen to Cleo, and Madison to Nylon they are all in my (very) sturdy magazine chest, tucked away under my bed. Now all my magazines are Fashion based ones, mostly female-based, some target both boys and girls, but I've never bought an all Guys one, but when I heard that amazing peeps behind Frankie had just released (5th of September baby! this is brand-spanking new!) their guy magazine Smith, i was interested. Unfortunately, my local newsagent don't stock it, so I'll have to travel into the city on the weekend to lay my hands on a copy, but I can't wait!     Here's an excerpt from an interview with 'editor at large', Rick Bannister by good people at thethousands.com.au : Very Funny reasoning behind the magazine title!

I know. No one knew the name until recently, not even the people who were working for it, and ‘Frank’ was nearly always the first suggestion they would come up with. The answer is because even though Smith Journal was created by the frankie team, it’s not simply a male version of it. It’s not the brother of frankie. It’s different. It’s more like frankie‘s guy friend. A guy who’s interested in lot of different stuff to frankie. (Smith Journal and frankie would definitely want to hook up though, I reckon, so they had to be from different families, otherwise that would have been weird and wrong)

Give up?      Now I'm going to tell you who it is just make sure your sitting down okay? I don't want any health claims of people fainting and hitting their heads while reading my blog (although, it would be good publicity--- Kidding!)

KRISTEN STEWART! Well you may not be as surprised as I was at this, but let me say I did find it pretty shocking. I'll make this clear I loved Twilight, but the use of past tense is the key here. Ever since the movies came out it has been overpublicised, invaded by tweens and shown to have the most moronic half-brained casting director on the planet. I mean Pattinson seriously!? However, I shall stop here as I'm scared of the hatemail I might receive and the fact that I secretly did enjoy the last movie, Eclipse. Anyway the biggest complaint people have is that Kristen Stewart is well, boring. I know that's hypocritical as she is supposed to be your average girl, but hey, if i'm paying $16 for a movie ticket I want to see something extraordinary.  If I want ordinary I'll just stare at the kids at school all day, for FREE!

Anyway, what was this about? Oh yeah, Stewart actually looks not normal in this spread! Who am I kidding she looks gorgeous!  I guess cause she's just turned vampire and all, the beauty's come out right? Woops* spoiler!*
Well that's the only reason I can think of for her looking so goddamn sexy.
